  "… Francaise *040 Postes SR 3285" Karvelis, who worked at the Gallimard publishing house, mailed the envelope from Paris to Marino. Barnet gave her letters to take with her on her trips from Havana to Paris. It is very likely that this envelope was sent to Marino with some delay; in fact, it can be deduced that Barnet did not write the greeting card before 25 July or after 8 August 1970, but it was not received until 24 August, even later than the card written on 12 August.
