"… 1976 at the earliest"Neither the content nor postal information allow this postcard to be dated. The fact that Barnet initially writes “as always” implies that some time had already passed since the beginning of their friendship. The fact that it is written in English suggests that it was probably written after the period 1970-1975, when Barnet and Henze wrote mostly in Spanish.
