Version 1.0.0 goes online

With the correspondence between Hans Werner Henze and Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Henze digital goes online, i.e. for the first time we publish one of the correspondences selected for the first phase of the project, comprising about 100 letters and documents. At the same time, we are also presenting the first version of the HenDi-WebApp , which was developed for this publication from and in cooperation with the Weber-Gesamtausgabe from its WeGA-WebApp .

Among the explanatory notes we provide both a introduction to the WebApp (text in german) and a introduction to the correspondence between Henze and Enzensberger .

We hope that this correspondence, which documents a personal friendship and an artistic collaboration that has not yet received close attention in research on either Enzensberger or Henze, will meet with great interest and we welcome feedback.
